How To Care For Your Jewellery
The scratches and tarnish that develop over time on your jewellery are a natural sign of wear and part of the beauty of how you choose to wear your jewellery in your everyday life.
That said, jewellery is delicate adornment and some care is encouraged when wearing it daily. Removing your jewellery when washing hands, showering, doing manual labour and before sleeping will help maintain it’s original appearance. Contact with soaps, detergents or chlorine can affect the surface of metals and gems, and is discouraged.
Pearls are soft organic gems, and to keep their lustre they should always be the last item to be put on and the first taken off. After contact with skin, gently run a soft cloth across the surface.
Store in a jewellery pouch in a cool, dry location.
